FAMILY

Bruce and I have been married for 26 years.We have 2 children,Ryan and Lindsay. Bruce runs our 9000 head feedlot.Our daughter  Lindsay assists him.She owns several horses ,listed in SALE section,that she uses to check pens in the Feedlot,when she isnt running for parts or working on the farm.Our son Ryan,graduated with a degree in Business from the University Of Louisianna Monroe. He is a professional Waterskier,residing in Groveland Florida,when he's not home working at the feedlot.He is a WORLD Junior Jump Champion. Bruce also has a passion for Water skiing,having won 5 Canadian Slalom Championships.Lindsay while retired from the sport also holds a Canadian Girls Jump Title.In all we are a very competative family.I have spent the last 30 years training and showing Cutting horses.

Dale's History

 I grew up in a 1 horse town called Brisco ,B.C. Canada. I loved horses from day one and knew that I wanted to be a "Horse Trainer" at 6 years old! I sent away for a course in the mail called "How to train your horse to do Tricks".I still have the worn out booklets. So picture this..... I would lead my 2 year-old gelding NIPPER out to the broad jump pit (it had soft shavings) and proceed to read step #1. I had a short memory at that age, so my horse would stand patiently,while I keep going back and re-reading each step.I was that determined! Low and behold ,I did manage to train him to do tricks.He could fetch objects, kiss( a big swipping wet smooch),undo my jacket zipper, sit & eat off a barrel,roll the barrel,lay down & let me get on,and ride around,bridleless! I was so proud of him.We became the lunch-time entertainment at cattle sales,and Rodeos,in the Windermere Valley.This began my horse training career.Fresh out of highschool,I enrolled in the 2 year Equine Course at Olds,College.I aquired a passion for Cutting horses and started my own training business. I started a lot of colts over the years,before moving to the feedlot at Olds,Alberta.I was helped along the way through Clinics and advice by many of Canadas top Trainers.Dave Manning,Bill Collins,The Hansma's,Cathy Anderson ,Les Timmons,Kevin Tienkamp,Bill Freeman,Denton Moffat, Dustin Gonnet,Brad Pederson,Doug Reinhardt,Scott Hansen,Cody Smith and many more.Thankyou so Much.

DALE'S ROCK GARDEN

One of my other passions is gardening.I used our CASE loader to move huge bolders for my rock garden,in the front yard.There is a pond,with KOI and many farm type antiques,among many perienials,trees and flowers.I like to add new plants each year.

Our Florida Home

This beautiful home is situated in Groveland,Florida,half an hour from Orlando.It makes for a nice escape during those long ,cold Alberta winters.You come back with a good dose of sunshine and a renewed desire to work!Bruce and Ryan are able to pursue there WATERSKIING passions as it is situated on a ski lake.
